Happy New Year btw!  Grin

Okay some here are under the impression that people believe in the stereoytpe that most gay men are effimate...
Now we have a NEW STEREOTYPE ( or should I say old )

The stereotype that most gay men are masculine or hypermasculine
You say how ?

Well you see ...
There's this whole thing about * ahem * gay men hating women

Well look at Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome
There was male supremacy and male to male love was WORSHIPPED

It's also known as '' hypermasculinity ''
Hypermasculine men are stereotyped as gay

Hypermasculinity is TOO MUCH masculinity
As in masculinity segregates itself or loves itself far too much and turns gay

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypermasculinity

But male to female love in Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome ? Scorned  Embarrassed
It was '' Men are for pleasure , Women are for reproduction ''

I personally think that both of these stereotypes are WAY off lol

If you think I'm lying then read this --- http://www.netfunny.com/rhf/jokes/98/Dec/islands.html

It goes like this '' The 2 Greek men are sleeping with each other and the Greek woman is cleaning and cooking for them. ''
Just google '' Ancient Greece gay myths ''

There are 2 stereotypes for gay men

One is that they are lacking masculinity
The other that they have TOO much masculinity or are masculine

Basically no moderation or balance

Kisses and hugs to you all  Cheesy

Well I was average masculine when I liked men, and I am average masculine now that I like women. But I sure FEEL more masculine. It's great.

Something about going from gay to straight is so incredibly satisfying, I think  cause it is kind of unexpected, unusual (maybe not so unusual), but definitely seems renegade. I love it, I will never go back I can't!
